London Vegan Festival and evening meal

Where: Kensington Town Hall, Kensington Town Hall, Hornton Street, London. W8 7NX
Date: Sun 25th Sep 2005 @ 10:45 until ( past event )

Let's all go to London together and checkout the World's great veggie shopping and eating experience gathering. See www.londonveganfestival.org.uk for festival details.

No need to be veggie or vegan - there's lots to interest anyone there.

We'll be heading in by train. Either meet up at Reading Station, at the festival itself and/or the restaurant. So tell us if you're going and whether you want a place booked for the meal.

Meeting at Reading train station

We are aiming for the 10:56 train to London Paddington. From 10:45 onwards, meet up on the platform it is due to leave from (probably no.5), level with the platform shop. You'll already have got yourself a train ticket! We'll probably head further up along the platform when the train comes in - aiming for coach C or B (not the quiet one). Contact us beforehand to exchange mobile numbers if you like.

Meeting at the festival

It will be crowded and there'll be lots to do. Look out for us, and swap mobile numbers by emailing us now if you like.

Things to particularly look out for at the festival

Such festivals are great places to stuff yourself silly with tasty food and sample exciting new products, as well as lots of shopping opportunities, from shoes to marshmallows. There are also workshops and talks going on, such as:

  • kids cookery workshop between 11.30-12.30
  • Promoting veganism workshop with Alex Bourke and others from 1.15-2.15
  • adults cookery demo from 3.15-4.15

Meeting for the evening meal

Meal details are listed as a separate event.

Either turn up at the restaurant at 6:30pm, or meet us at the festival exit by 6pm, when we'll be leaving to go to the meal. Please tell us beforehand if you are coming so we can get hold of a big enough table.
