New Year's Day walk and feast
On New Year's day it's great to have a refreshing walk after a late breakfast and then have a cosy pub lunch with nice people, so that's what we've organised for you.
The walk and meal time is not set in stone, so if you are one of the first to book please state your preference. Currently we're thinking 1:30pm for the walk, 3pm for the 2 course buffet feast.
Book as soon as you can so we can give them a good idea of numbers as it's a busy day for a pub, and this is a very popular one.

Peppard Common is only a few miles north of Reading - just keep going up the Peppard Road from Caversham towards Nettlebed, through Sonning Common until you come to a lovely big flat green at the top of a hill, and there is the pub off to the left. Plenty of parking or you can put your bicycle in the garden (or ask to put it in their yard with their dog).
