I phoned in a few days before going to see if they could make something vegan for me. Not only did they oblige, but they offered me 3 appetizers to choose from (including what might be the best soup in the world!), and 2 mains to choose from.
When I went back a few months later, one of the servers asked me if I would like to see the vegan menu. I was surprised, because I had not called in advance, and he remembered me from several months prior. I was only coming in for a glass of wine and some of their lovely marinated olives, and hadn't called in advance, and there was no formal vegan menu, but the chef was willing to put something together for me.
I felt so good that I ended up ordering what I thought would be a regular green salad, but instead was a beautiful blend of greens, artichoke, gorgeous fresh and grilled veggies, and a lovely dressing. Absolutely a treat!! And impeccable service.

Not good for vegetarians – there isn't much to choose from and those items which are vegetarian are a bit weird (too much cheese too). I had tapas, if you want to be served much too much including a whole bowl of plain mixed beans (we are talking the amount you get in a standard baked bean tin) then you might like it! Expensive, too dark and the music is too loud too.
Mel 2007-05-07 09:32:18Visited the London St Brasserie over the weekend. Called the day before to confirm they could cater for a vegan. They called me back with a choice of 2 starters and 2 main courses, both sounded lovely. Chose a roasted beetroot salad and an asparagus risotto and as it was before 7pm £13.50 for both courses. Very impressed with the service, a fantastic meal and incredibly good value. Will certainly go back.
