T3V rescued Christmas turkeys are doing well
So what's happened to the two turkeys narrowly rescued before Christmas from 2tenFM's debate about the fate of Tina the turkey? Tina & Tanya are flourishing – find out more.
Tanya is smaller than Tina and has leg deformities due to over-feeding of protein as a baby (common amongst farmed turkeys). Both girls are now on a diet and enjoying their freedom. Tina was recently spotted chasing off a "foreign" cat who was pretty freaked out to see an enormous turkey flapping towards it!
And to think they could have long been rotting in someone's stomach instead, like their fellows!
